Fire Rock Grilled
Nate loved the Fire Rock Grill, especially the smoked meats. But his affections for the restaurant apparently aren't universal.
Diner Mike Ziegler, who's originally from Cincinnati, called to say his family's experience last weekend was horrible.
He had the prime rib and found it so fatty, he could only eat half of it.
Worse, he got the sense that the servers and the staff didn't seem to care about him.
Please let us know what you think.

We ate at the Fire Rock Grill several weeks ago and were disappointed with both the service and meal. There was just enough wrong with everything that we will not add this restaurant to our "do again" list. The appetizers we had were not "wow" quality. The dip we sampled was bland and not all of the the "stuffed" jalepeno poppers were stuffed!! For the main dishes, the meats were fatty and the creamed spinach side-dish was watery - not creamy!
The service was merely okay - a bit lazy. Reaching across plates (without even an "excuse me!"), having to ask for water, drinks, etc. For what we paid - we expected to walk out going "Wow - we'll be back." We actually walked out saying we won't be back any time soon!
Ouch.
This place is nothing without Callicrate.

I went for lunch this week and it was pretty good. Had the Reuben, a nice stack of corned beef, good sauce, good bread, etc., nicely grilled.
Had the side of mashed sweet potato, which was too sweet, and a cup of green chile soup, which was very good.
