Bagels lose dough
Just got word from my boss, Jeff Thomas, that Ahhh Bagels on north Austin Bluffs is closed.
Tacked on the door was a late-December notice from the landlord: Pay $12,000 or get out. Guess the business decided to get out.
Man, we can't afford to lose another bagel place in this town.

Hubby and I have a view of the shop from our deck. Last few times I went there, they never had lox. There is a Starbucks in Albertson's that is always busy, it just couldn't compete. Bad move to be a breakfast place, next to a store that has a bakery and "America's Coffee Place." Must say, when they were stocked they did a nice bagel.
I hate when small businesses close.
Does anyone in town to a traditional boiled bagel?
